The virtual working environment has been around for a many years in Global and multinational organisations – it is not possible to always be in the same room. What has really shifted is the accessibility, quality and speed of technology supporting that way of working. It used to be that you needed a video conferencing suite to connect with multiple people, now with Zoom, Google Hangouts, Microsoft Teams etc there are numerous stable ways to feel like you are in the same room.
